Oklahoma's Trevor Knight held out of practice for third straight week

Oklahoma's Trevor Knight still needs more time to recover from his neck injury.

The star quarterback has been held out of practice for a third week in a row, Sooners head coach Bob Stoops told the media on Monday.

"Our doctors continue to evaluate him week to week," said Stoops. "They still don't want him to be out on the field yet this week and they said they'll reassess it on Monday the following week."

Oklahoma returns to action on Dec. 6 at home against in-state rival Oklahoma State.
