Marcus Mariota threw five touchdowns in his ninth multi-touchdown game of the season to lead Oregon over California 59-41.

It was a rare sighting for the No. 6 Ducks in the second quarter, who played the game inside Levi's Stadium at San Francisco, when Mariota threw his first interception of the season.

The rest of Mariota's stat line doesn't look so bad: 326 yards on 18-of-30 passing.

Freshman running back Royce Freeman scored his 12th and 13th touchdowns of the season, putting him one shy of LaMichael James' Oregon freshman record.

Jared Goff of the Golden Bears had a solid outing, throwing for 360 yards on 32-of-52 passing in the losing effort.

The Golden Bears have lost their third game in a row and fourth of the season.
