Teammate says DaVaris Daniels likely to return to Notre Dame for 2015 season

Wide receiver DaVaris Daniels may don a Fighting Irish golden helmet for another season, according to his teammate, cornerback KeiVarae Russell. 

"I'm sure my followers and the country will be pleased to hear that he (Daniels) is likely to return to Notre Dame with me despite what media says," Russell wrote underneath a photo of Daniels posted to his Instagram. 

Russell's Instagram statement contradicts Daniels's announcement on Twitter last week that his time with Notre Dame was done after months of official investigations into potential academic dishonesty. 

Daniels and Russell were two of five suspended Notre Dame players linked to the academic fraud scandal.
