West Virginia's Daryl Worley charged with misdemeanor battery
An arrest warrant was issued Wednesday afternoon charging suspended West Virginia cornerback Daryl Worley with misdemeanor battery, according to West Virginia MetroNews.
The charge stems from an incident late Saturday night when Worley allegedly grabbed a woman by the throat and shoved her to the floor during a nightclub altercation hours after the Mountaineers' win over Maryland, police said.
A MetroNews reporter tweeted about the arrest warrant Wednesday:

2/3: Charge stems from incident at Lux bar early Sunday where Worley is accused of grabbing a female around the neck and pushing her down.
