Warren Buffett is the third-richest man in the world, but that isn't stopping him from trying to increase his fortune.
The University of Nebraska alumnus wagered $550 to win $500 on the Cornhuskers covering the 12.5-point spread against Fresno State on Saturday, which they did in a 55-19 victory.
Buffett was in Las Vegas for the Floyd Mayweather-Marcos Maidana fight at the MGM Grand. It was his first time betting on a sports book.
