Texas A&M's Sumlin: Noil injury reports 'completely false'

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin is refuting recent reports that freshman receiver Speedy Noil suffered an MCL injury.

Sumlin called the reports "completely false" on Tuesday, as per FOX Sports. Those reports claimed that Noil would be out three to five weeks. The coach did confirm that Noil won't play this Saturday, though.

Noil has emerged as one of quarterback Kenny Hill's most dependable receivers, hauling in 12 passes for 197 yards and a score.
