Miami is experiencing a resurgence of sorts under head coach Mark Richt, and one of the ways he's bringing "The U" back to prominence is by tapping into the program's rich history.

The Hurricanes held a camp over the weekend featuring a number of former stars as guest coaches, with Ed Reed being one of the biggest names to attend.

The former All-Pro safety for the Baltimore Ravens is fully committed to the Hurricanes, pledging his support in any way possible, even mentioning interest in coaching.

"Yeah, I definitely do," Reed told Matt Porter of the Palm Beach Post. "You will see me here, you'll hear about it, I guarantee it. If coach wants me, needs me to come here and help, I'm going to come here and watch film with the guys, talk to them."

Having Reed around the team is a massive bonus for Richt, and the former star could help improve the Hurricanes' 60th-ranked pass defense in 2017.
