Florida State's Nyqwan Murray: Could seize No. 1 role, per Fisher

Coach Jimbo Fisher said Tuesday that Murray has the potential to be Florida State's No.1 receiver this season, Safid Deen of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Travis Rudolph, Kermit Whitfield, and Bobo Wilson are all moving on from the Seminoles, so Murray has a golden opportunity to seize a prominent role in the Florida State offense this fall. Murray was able to haul in five receptions for 59 yards in Saturday's spring game and also showed that potential Fisher mentioned last season with a combined 17 catches for 353 yards and three scores against Clemson, North Carolina State, and Michigan. With significantly less veteran road blocks in his way this season, Murray should finally be in line for a featured role with the 'Noles in 2017.
