Ohio State's K.J. Hill: Eyeing starting role at receiver

Hill has an inside track at landing a starting receiver role for the Buckeyes, Bill Landis of Cleveland.com reports.

Analysis:

Hill enjoyed a promising redshirt freshman campaign in 2016 with 18 catches for 262 yards (14.56 YPR) and a touchdown. Now that Curtis Samuel, Noah Brown, and Dontre Wilson have all moved on from the program, there are starting spots up for grabs for a player like Hill. Landis also added that Hill could get some reps at H-back, but noted that Parris Campbell is the leading candidate to land that role. Still, it's important to note that spring success does not always equate to a role in the fall, so Hill will need to continue his positive momentum through the rest of the offseason and fall camp to cement his status as a starter.
