Auburn's Darius Slayton: Fully participating in spring practice

Slayton (groin) has begun practicing at full speed, Tom Green of AL.com reports.

Analysis:

The redshirt sophomore underwent sports hernia surgery before earlier in the semester and was initially expected to miss all 15 of Auburn's spring practice sessions. However, he's healed quicker than anticipated and worked his way back up to practicing full speed. Slayton's 292 receiving yards are the most among returning Auburn wideouts this season. Slayton, Eli Stove, Nate Craig-Myers, and Kyle Davis (personal) all have the ability to take major steps forward as sophomores this season.
