UCLA made a big move for its future Thursday, as the school announced former Michigan tight end Devin Asiasi will transfer to join the Bruins.

Asiasi just completed his freshman season with the Wolverines, recording two receptions for 18 yards and a touchdown while appearing in all 13 games, but it's his potential that should have fans excited.

Asiasi was a four-star member of Michigan's 2016 recruiting class, ranked third among tight ends and 44th overall in the nation by ESPN.

Due to NCAA transfer rules, Asiasi will have to sit out next season. He will be able to take the field for the 2018 season and have three years of eligibility remaining.
