Ohio State mails recruit letter with wrong name

With signing day in the rear-view mirror, schools are now focused on the 2018 class and sending out information packets to recruits.

However, for four-star Jacob Copeland, who is rated 38th in the ESPN 300, his letter was addressed to the wrong person.

Copeland took to Twitter to point out the mistake made by Ohio State, and told Rob Cassidy of Rivals.com that it made him think twice about considering the Buckeyes moving forward.

This is not the first time a Big Ten program has messed up with mailing letters.

Last year, Michigan sent a letter to four-star Aubrey Solomon, thanking him and his family for attending a barbecue.

However, Solomon did not attend the barbecue and promptly decommitted from the Wolverines, only to recommit come signing day in February.

All does not seem lost for Buckeye fans when it comes to Copeland.
