Notre Dame's Tarean Folston: Declares for 2017 NFL Draft

Folston has officially declared for the 2017 NFL Draft.

Analysis:

The senior potentially had one more season of eligibility after missing all but one game in 2015 with a torn MCL. However, he will forgo his final season of eligibility and enter the draft. Folston averaged over 5.0 yards per carry in his first two seasons with the Irish, but he struggled to carve out a significant role in 2016, taking 77 carries for 334 yards. He currently projects as a later round draft pick, but a strong Pro Day could help his stock.
