Iowa's Derrick Mitchell: Transferring from Iowa

Mitchell will leave Iowa as a graduate transfer, Cedar Rapids Gazette writer Marc Morehouse reports.

Analysis:

Mitchell was hurt pretty much all the time at Iowa and finished his Hawkeye career with just 174 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries, but he just might have a shot at resurfacing at the FBS level. Listed at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, Mitchell offers some intrigue after showing some passing-down ability in the past. He could be on the 2017 fantasy radar if he stays in the FBS.
