Oregon officially hires Mario Cristobal as co-offensive coordinator

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Oregon made it official Tuesday, naming former Alabama offensive line coach Mario Cristobal as the Ducks co-offensive coordinator and running-game coordinator. He will also coach the Oregon offensive line

Cristobal spent the last four seasons with the Crimson Tide, helping produce three draft picks along the offensive line, including 2015 first-round pick Ryan Kelly. Also, 2016 Outland Trophy winner Cam Robinson is expected to be a high draft pick in this year's upcoming NFL draft.

Prior to Alabama, Cristobal served as head coach at Florida International from 2007-11, and coached previously at Rutgers and his alma mater Miami, where he won a pair of national championships as a player.
