Report: Former Cal coach Sonny Dykes to join TCU
Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports
Sonny Dykes seemingly won't be out of a job for long.
The former California head coach, who was fired on Jan. 8, will reportedly be joining the coaching staff at TCU in an unspecified role, according to ESPN's Adam Rittenberg, citing a source.
Former Horned Frogs co-offensive coordinator Doug Meacham was recently hired by Kansas on Jan. 12, so the addition of Dykes to the TCU coaching staff could very well be a move to fill that vacancy.
Dykes spent the previous four seasons manning the sidelines of the Golden Bears, where he led the team to an overall record of 19-30 over that span.
