Alabama's David Cornwell: Transferring to Nevada
Cornwell will transfer to Nevada, the Reno Gazette-Journal reports.
Analysis:
Cornwell will have two remaining years of eligibility and will be eligible to play in 2017. Cornwell brings unprecedented recruiting pedigree to Nevada, but he's not guaranteed to beat out incumbent starter Ty Gangi, who was relatively promising as a sophomore in 2016. Nevada's offense could provide standout fantasy value, in any case, as former Arizona State offensive coordinator Jay Norvell figures to bring an uptempo, aggressive offense to the Wolfpack.
