West Virginia's Crawford to return for senior year
West Virginia is retaining the services of its leading rusher, as Justin Crawford announced Wednesday he'll return to Morgantown for his senior season.

Crawford posted 1,184 yards and four touchdowns on the ground in 2016, setting him up for a full-time job next year. He split backfield duties with senior Rushel Shell this season, though Shell wound up missing some time due to injury.
Shell's return, coupled with the expected debut of transfer quarterback Will Grier, could give the Mountaineers one of the top backfield combos in the Big 12 in 2017.
West Virginia went 10-3 this season, losing to Miami in the Russell Athletic Bowl.
