Auburn's Stanton Truitt: Transferring from Auburn
Truitt announced earlier in the week that he will transfer from Auburn, Michael Niziolek of the Ledger-Enquirer reports.
Analysis:
The converted wide receiver had a minor role out of the Auburn backfield this season, taking 31 carries for 187 yards and two scores. However, as a formerly highly touted recruit, Truitt was never prominently featured in the Auburn offense, and with the Tigers' top two running backs coming back in addition to what should be a loaded receiving corps, he will likely have a better chance at a featured role elsewhere.
