Texas A&M's Speedy Noil has decided to skip his senior season with the program and declare for the 2017 NFL Draft.

"I'm excited to announce that after careful consideration and numerous discussions with my family and coaches, I have decided to forgo my remaining college eligibility at Texas A&M and enter the 2017 NFL Draft," Noil said on Twitter. "I want to thank my family, my teammates, Coach (Kevin) Sumlin, all my teachers, administrators, and a special thanks to (Lee Hood) and you, the A&M fan base for all of your support."

Noil came to Texas A&M as a highly-touted five-star recruit, ranked seventh in the entire 2014 recruiting class by ESPN. The 6-foot, 200-pounder burst onto the scene in his freshman season, catching 46 passes for 583 yards and five touchdowns.

While his talent is undeniable, Noil has gone through a number of off-field issues during his time at Texas A&M. He was suspended for the Aggies' bowl game against Kansas State by Sumlin after an arrest for marijuana possession. That marked the second straight bowl game he would miss due to suspension, as he also sat out the 2015 Music City Bowl due to suspension as well.
