Oklahoma State wide receiver James Washington left the Cowboys game against Colorado and will not return to the Alamo Bowl with a hand injury.

An official confirmed the news, saying Washington's night was done and his parents had come down from the stands to the locker room.

In the game, Washington torched the Buffaloes' defense, to the tune of nine receptions for 171 yards and one touchdown.

Washington, along with quarterback Mason Rudolph, announced they were returning for their senior season earlier in the week.
