Former four-star quarterback Ricky Town will transfer out of the Arkansas program at the end of the year.

Town originally committed to USC, but left for Arkansas in the fall of 2015 and will now look to play at a junior college to grab playing time.

"Ricky Town is a guy that will look into opportunities as a junior college transfer," said coach Bret Bielema Sunday.

Bielema made the announcement after the Razorbacks were selected for the Belk Bowl versus Virginia Tech and also stated that running back Damon Mitchell will also move on.

"He's going to be a senior grad transfer, he's a kid that I've have had several conversations with over the last four years and worked diligently with him over the last couple weeks to find place for him next year," Bielema said at his press conference.

Mitchell will play in the Belk Bowl, and is eligible to play immediately next fall as a grad transfer.
