BYU's depth along the defensive line took a hit in the last three weeks, as defensive linemen Merrill Taliauli and Travis Tuiloma will both miss the remainder of the season after tearing their ACL's, the school confirmed to Jay Drew of The Salt Lake Tribune.
Taliauli tore his ACL on Oct. 14 against Mississippi State, while Tuiloma suffered his injury against Boise State on Oct. 20. BYU was on bye this week.
Taliauli, a sophomore, played in seven games this year, recording seven tackles, including one for a loss. Tuiloma, a senior, saw action in five games, registering four tackles and half a sack.
Both will undergo surgery. The Cougars play at Cincinnati on Saturday.
