Texas A&M's Trayveon Williams: Held in check in loss

Williams rushed nine times for just 23 yards at Alabama on Saturday.

Analysis:

Williams was unsurprisingly stymied by the stiff Alabama defense, just one game after rushing for an incredible 217 yards on the ground against Tennessee. In fact, Williams had a four-game scoring streak snapped, and he had rushed for at least 98 yards in every contest during that span. Keith Ford was the leading rusher this week against the Tide, but Williams should get back on track next weekend against inferior New Mexico State.
