Texas A&M's Keith Ford: Leading rusher in loss

Ford led the Aggies in rushing Saturday at Alabama, toting the pigskin 15 times for 62 yards in the 33-14 loss.

Analysis:

Ford also caught a 21-year pass out of the backfield. He was virtually the only rusher for A&M that could find any room against the stellar Alabama defense. The 15 carries were a season high for the Oklahoma transfer. Even though he likely remains behind Trayveon Williams on the depth chart, he should see plenty of action against lowly New Mexico State next weekend.
