3 more Minnesota players served with restraining orders, won't play Saturday

Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

Three more Minnesota football players were served restraining orders for an alleged sexual assault, according to Joe Christensen of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Attorney Lee Hutton confirmed KiAnte Hardin, Ray Buford, and Dior Johnson were issued the same restraining order for the same allegation Carlton Djam and Tamarion Johnson received Thursday.

Since the women who filed the restraining orders work at TCF Stadium during home games, all five won't be able to play this Saturday against Rutgers or be in the stadium at any point.

Hardin recorded an interception in each of the last two games, after sitting out the previous three due to suspension. While Buford has two tackles this season, Johnson hasn't seen any playing time this season.
