Relive Arkansas-Auburn's 4OT thriller before Saturday's showdown

Jasen Vinlove / USA TODAY Sports

Almost exactly one year ago, Auburn and Arkansas produced a four-overtime thriller. The 54-46 Razorbacks win kicked off a string of six victories in seven games for Arkansas, while Auburn limped to a 3-3 record after the loss.

Trailing 38-31, the Tigers drove down the field to force what would turn out to be a four-extra-frame affair.

The Razorbacks faced fourth downs in the first and third overtime periods, but converted both times to keep drives alive. After a touchdown and two-point conversion, they finally stopped the Tigers on fourth down in the fourth and final period to seal the win.

The schools are set to square off this weekend, and Auburn will do its best to settle the game in regulation. Arkansas has participated in 18 overtimes throughout its history - second-most all time in the FBS - and has played three of the seven longest overtime games ever recorded.
