Fortune teller: Garrett bests Robinson with NFL scouts watching

Once a week, psychics from all over the country gather with a giant crystal ball and attempt to read the future of college football. Ahead of the 2016 season's eighth slate of games, here are the fortunes they revealed:

Penn State doesn't post a TD on Ohio State

Sorry, Penn State, but Trace McSorley isn't scaring anyone at quarterback, let alone Ohio State. Running back Saquon Barkley scares some, but he's only gone over 100 yards twice this year and has yet to face a defense as vaunted as Ohio State's.

The last time Penn State played a ranked opponent, it was held to 10 points by Michigan. Always looking to one-up its biggest rival, the Buckeyes will hold the Nittany Lions without a touchdown for all 60 minutes when the two teams collide under the lights in Happy Valley.

Garrett gets the better of Robinson

Before they take their rivalry to the NFL, Myles Garrett and Cam Robinson have one last college battle left in store. If Robinson's outing last week against Tennessee's Derek Barnett was any indication, it'll be a long afternoon for the Alabama left tackle.

As good as Barnett is, Texas A&M's Garrett is even bigger, faster, and stronger. Garrett beat Robinson for a sack in last year's contest and though he's not at 100 percent health this time, he'll still establish himself as the better pro prospect by victimizing Robinson for multiple sacks in this one.

Falk hits 500 yards vs. Arizona State

It's never pretty when the nation's sixth-leading passer meets its worst statistical passing defense, but that's exactly what'll happen when Washington State faces Arizona State.

It's been a while since Luke Falk enjoyed a 500-yard performance - 363 days to be exact - so the Cougars junior has to be licking his chops at the thought of playing the Sun Devils, a team he also torched for 497 yards last year.

Already winners of its last four games, Washington State is destined to send its reeling opponent - with whom it shares bad blood - to a third loss in four contests, while Falk will throw for 500 yards for the first time this season.
