4 teams that could take down Alabama
Alabama is 7-0 after travelling up to Knoxville and cruising past Tennessee 49-10 on Saturday.
The question on everyone's mind after another dominating win is "Can anyone beat Alabama?"
With five conference games left, a possible SEC title game, and the College Football Playoff, here are four teams that could prevent the Crimson Tide from running the table and repeating as national champion.
LSU
Sure it hasn't gone to plan this year for LSU - two losses, Leonard Fournette battling injuries, and coach Les Miles shown the door. However, the Tigers have looked better since Ed Orgeron took over as interim coach, especially on offense. The biggest advantage the Tigers have heading into the Nov. 5th matchup, it's a night game in Death Valley.
Michigan
The two programs wouldn't meet until the College Football Playoff, should each make it in. The back-and-forth exchange between Harbaugh and Saban during the summer was humorous and would only get cranked up in the lead up to the game. Michigan has been more than impressive this year, the defense, led by Jabrill Peppers and Jourdan Lewis is the best in nation. A defense like that could pose problems for freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Ohio State
Remember what happened in 2014? Ohio State could do the same this year. Aside from Alabama, the Buckeyes have been the next best team in then nation. J.T. Barrett and the offense have been rolling all season, averaging 49 points per game, while also featuring the No.6 total defense in the country. Urban Meyer's squad is very equipped to take down the Crimson Tide.
Texas A&M
If the Aggies are the team to stop Alabama it'll occur this Saturday. Back in 2012, it was Johnny Manziel leading Texas A&M to the upset road victory, this year it could be quarterback Trevor Knight doing the same. Knight's dual-threat offense is averaging 532 total yards a game. The Aggie defense has recorded 20 sacks. Knight also knows what it takes to beat Nick Saban's team, he accomplished the feat in the 2014 Sugar Bowl, while at Oklahoma.
