Mississippi State's Nick Fitzgerald: Three TDs, two picks in loss

Fitzgerald completed 17-of-36 passes for 214 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions Friday at BYU, while also rushing 16 times for 41 yards and two more scores.

Analysis:

Fitzgerald has completed 50-percent or fewer of his passes in three of the last four games. However, he has received double-digit carries in five-straight tilts, flashing his dual-threat ability. Fitzgerald has at least two touchdowns in three consecutive contests, and will put that streak on the line at Kentucky next Saturday.
