Utah coach: Armand Shyne's knee injury 'doesn't look good'

Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

Utah running back Armand Shyne helped lead the Utes back from a 14-3 deficit against Arizona on Saturday, but his season may be done.

Shyne rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown, then left the game when his knee gave out at the the end of the run. He was taken off the field in a cart.

"It doesn't look good," coach Kyle Whittingham said after the game. He added, "That's a big issue for us right now because Troy McCormick is out, Zack Moss is out, and now it looks like Armand is out. It may be season-ending. We'll know in the next 24-48 hours, so that's a big blow."

The sophomore has rushed for 373 yards and four touchdowns this season.
