If Jim Harbaugh has his way, he'll be coaching Michigan for what may be the rest of his life.

Harbaugh was asked if he sees himself "coaching Michigan forever, that being the ultimate job for (him) 20-25 years from now," during an appearance on Sirius XM College Sports, according to Angelique S. Chengelis of The Detroit News.

"Yeah, I think that way," Harbaugh answered. "And I think, God willing and the creek don't rise, that will happen. I love coaching, I love football, I love the university of Michigan and you hope to go as long as you can where you're still doing it by example, not just through anecdote, and you're still able to do that as long as the good Lord will allow you to do it."

Two-plus decades is a long time for any position in sports, especially a football coach. Despite his passion for the Wolverines, Harbaugh has spent time as an NFL head coach, and he may become interested in returning.

As of 2016, Harbaugh may want to spend the rest of his career at Michigan, but the bigger question may be in the end, does Michigan want Harbaugh for the rest of his career?
