Mississippi's A.J. Brown: Standing out in camp

Brown, a true freshman, has been impressive in preseason camp, the Clarion-Ledger reports.

Analysis:

Brown remains behind Quincy Adeboyejo and Damore'ea Stringfellow on the depth chart, and it would be difficult to expect a true freshman to come into the SEC and start right away. That being said, he has shown stellar pass-catching ability along with the requisite physicality. At 6-foot-1, 225-lbs, he appears well-suited to transition from high school to the SEC gridiron.
