Oklahoma State's Chris Carson: Starting running back job still unknown

Carson is competing with Rennie Childs and Stanford transfer Barry Sanders for the starting running back job, the Stillwater News Press reports.

Analysis:

Carson was the most productive running back for the Cowboys a year ago with 557 yards and four touchdowns on 131 carries. Sanders is expected to win the job, but that doesn't mean Carson and Childs won't receive their fair share of carries for what projects to be a potent offense.
