UCLA's Alex Van Dyke: Suffers mild groin injury in camp

Van Dyke exited Thursday's practice with a mild groin injury, Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Analysis:

Fortunately for Van Dyke, the injury was described as mild, so the hope is that he won't miss much time. The third-year wideout checks in at 6-3, 212, and is a former four-star recruit. With the attrition to UCLA's receiving corps, Van Dyke figures to see a bigger role in the offense this season if he can stay on the field. Still, he doesn't look to be in the picture as a starter at this point in camp.
