4-star QB Cade Fortin commits to Texas A&M 2018 class

Texas A&M added four-star quarterback Cade Fortin to it's 2018 class.

Fortin opted to join the Aggies ahead of California, Rutgers, North Carolina, and Iowa, among others.

"I am excited to announce that I am committed to further my football and academic career at Texas A&M University," wrote Fortin on Twitter. He added, "I am extremely blessed by an incredibly close family that played a huge role in this process. Not just my parents and siblings, but my grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins have all contributed to my development as a person and a player and I am extremely thankful to have their support in this decision."

The 6-foot-2, Georgia native is rated No.13 for his position in the nation and is the 22nd-top recruit in his home state.
