Michigan's Jehu Chesson: Expects to be ready for fall camp

Chesson (leg) expects to be ready for the start of fall camp, Nick Baumgardner of MLive Media Group reports.

Analysis:

Chesson was sidelined during spring practice with a leg injury that he suffered during the team's bowl victory over Florida, but it appears that's he's had enough time off that the injury is expected to back to full strength prior to camp. He's coming off a 2015-16 campaign where he posted a team-high of 764 yards, while snagging 50 passes. However, coach Jim Harbaugh indicated fellow wide receiver Amara Darboh "surged during spring ball" and could battle Chesson for the top overall spot on the depth chart.
