Jim Mora believes Josh Rosen would have been top pick in 2016 Draft

Apparently the best NCAA quarterback in 2016 did not get drafted first or second, or even at all, and no one but Jim Mora seemed to know about it.

The UCLA bench boss is very high on Josh Rosen. Mora is so high on him that he asserted if Rosen entered the NFL Draft in 2016, he would have been drafted ahead of Jared Goff and Carson Wentz, according to Aaron Torres of Fox Sports.

"His potential is unlimited," Mora said of Rosen. "He would have been the best QB in the draft this year. There's no question about his ability, only experience and, at this point, maturity. He's special. And he is smart, a leader, and very well respected by his teammates. He works hard and gets it. Just needs to continue to grow and not think he's arrived."

Rosen has been touted as a Heisman favorite heading into the 2016 season, and Mora's praise has unquestionably raised his pedestal that much higher.

Even if Rosen is a better, more talented quarterback than Goff and Wentz, he will have to outperform another up-and-coming star in Deshaun Watson of Clemson if he wishes to live up to Mora's expectations.
