4-star OT Joel Honigford commits to Michigan
Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports
Not only did Jim Harbaugh land a four-star recruit on Wednesday, but he went into Ohio to do so, as offensive tackle Joel Honigford announced his commitment to Michigan.
The 6-foot-6, 273-pound Honigford is ranked as the seventh-best prospect in the state of Ohio and comes in at 199th overall on the ESPN 300.
Honigford held offers from over 20 FBS programs including Tennessee, Penn State, Oklahoma, and Michigan State, but ultimately settled on the Wolverines. Michigan already landed the nation's 23rd-ranked offensive tackle in Ja'Raymond Hall, so it appears the bookends of Harbaugh's line will be set for the foreseeable future.
