The Laremy Tunsil-Ole Miss saga took another turn Wednesday, as the offensive tackle's stepfather Lindsey Miller is claiming people associated with the school helped improperly fund the family's move to Oxford, Miss.

The NCAA is currently investigating multiple infractions against Ole Miss and slapped the school with a notice of allegations in May. The school responded to it and is now at the mercy of the NCAA when punishment is dolled out following the completion of the investigation.

Miller is a key member of that investigation and has interviewed extensively with the NCAA regarding extra benefits he claims Tunsil received. According to Pete Thamel of Sports Illustrated, Miller claims that the star offensive tackle's family was able to relocate from Florida to Oxford thanks to financial assistance from coaches and boosters.

"It's like that movie 'Blue Chips' with Nick Nolte, with Shaquille O'Neal in it," Miller told Thamel in reference to the 1994 fictional film regarding corruption in college sports. "It really is."

While Miller's allegations appear damning, it's important to question his credibility in this case due to his strained relationship with Tunsil. Miller agreed to cooperate with the NCAA just a week after a domestic incident at home with the Ole Miss star. He then filed a civil lawsuit against Tunsil, prompting the Miami Dolphins tackle's mom to file for divorce.

Ole Miss has admitted to 12 of the 13 NCAA violations they were slapped with in football, but coach Hugh Freeze and the administrators have questioned the severity of the claims.

That's one area the NCAA is banking on Miller's testimony to help prove. He spoke with the organization for over 100 hours, and provided numerous text messages, e-mails, and Facebook messages to substantiate his claims.

With the investigation not likely to wrap up until 2017, it will still be a while before full punishment will be known. Regardless, Miller appears to be a star witness that we may hear from further down the road.
