Report: Texas adds 4th former Baylor signee in OL Patrick Hudson

Erich Schlegel-USA TODAY Sports

The exodus of former Baylor signees to Texas continued Wednesday as Jason Suchomel of Orangebloods.com is reporting that offensive guard Patrick Hudson has become the fourth player to make the move, committing to the Longhorns.

Hudson joins Devin Duvernay, Donovan Duvernay, and J.P. Urquidez in making the 100-mile move from Waco to Austin since Baylor terminated coach Art Briles in late May. The school originally didn't release the signees from their national letters of intent following Briles' dismissal before eventually relenting.

The 6-foot-5, 330-pound Hudson is ranked as the top offensive guard in the 2016 recruiting class and is listed as the 56th overall prospect on the ESPN 300. His addition further strengthens Charlie Strong's impressive 2016 list of signees, bringing the total of four-star prospects to 15.
