Toledo will be short three players, two of which were to start on the defensive side of the ball, for the first two games of the season due to suspension.

Head coach Jason Candle, who's in his first year as coach, told Nicholas Piotrowicz of the Toledo Blade that defensive tackle Marquise Moore and linebackers Jaylen Coleman and Anthony Davis will sit the first two games.

Candle said the reason for the suspensions were "violations of athletic department policies."

Coleman led the Rockets in tackles with 48 last season before breaking his leg in week six. Moore recorded four tackles in 12 games as a backup, while Davis had three tackles in four games in 2015.

The Rockets begin their season at Arkansas State before returning home to face Maine.
