Rutgers lands 4-star LB Tyshon Fogg

Chris Ash landed a big piece for the future of his defense Sunday, as four-star linebacker Tyshon Fogg committed to Rutgers for 2017.

The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Fogg, announced his decision on Twitter, and chose the Scarlet Knights program over a number of Power 5 schools, including Clemson, Maryland, Michigan State, and Ole Miss.

Fogg is the seventh-ranked player in the state of Maryland, and is listed by ESPN as the 27th-best outside linebacker prospect in the country.

Ash presided over an Ohio State defense last season that just had six players taken in the 2016 NFL Draft, and his move to the head position with Rutgers should certainly help land more four-star recruits like Fogg.
