When it comes to presidential memorabilia, UConn head coach Bob Diaco may have the most delicious thing of all.

The Huskies bench boss recently revealed he has a fettuccine alfredo recipe passed down from the 35th president of the United States, John F. Kennedy, according to Charles Curtis of USA TODAY.

Diaco explained he learned the recipe from Jim Hayes, a highly regarded lawyer who happened to be giving a speech at Loras College while JFK was campaigning the Iowa caucus. When the president and company couldn't find somewhere to eat, JFK offered to cook some fettuccine alfredo.

Hayes later became a close friend of Diaco, and shared the notes he took while the president was cooking. When pressed for the specific recipe, Diaco gave a subtle hint as to the makeup of the dish.

"There's a couple of things, but I think the main thing to talk about is the alfredo is made and put together and built structurally with the pasta," Diaco told Campus Rush.

He made it very clear that a magician, or in this case a cook, never reveals all of his secrets.

"This alfredo is entirely built as the pasta finishes cooking. So, they kind of really cook together. There's one other ingredient that I'll have to leave as a secret," he added.
