Tuesday was a profitable day for Bob Stoops and the assistants on his staff at Oklahoma.

The university's Board of Regents approved both extensions and raises among the football coaching staff. Stoops' contract was extended through 2021 and will net the bench boss an additional $25,000 in 2017 and 2019, according to Brett Coppenbarger of News9.com

Guerin Emig of the Tulsa World provided a breakdown of Stoops' contract going forward.

Offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley and defensive coordinator Mike Stoops were extended through 2018, along with pay raises that see their contracts swell to almost $900,000 per year, according to Derek Peterson of the Oklahoma Daily.

Multiple other assistants, including offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh and wide receivers coach Dennis Simmons also received pay raises.

The approval from the Board of Regents comes on the same day as Oklahoma president David Boren announced a seven-percent increase in tuition for the coming academic year.

Stoops is tied with Kirkn Ferentz of Iowa as the longest tenured football coach in the FBS.

Both men took over their respective programs in 1999.
