Auburn has a new Tiger and his name is Austin Troxell, a four-star prospect from Madison, Ala.

"I have committed to the University of Auburn, so I'm ready," Troxell told AL.com on Saturday. "I'm ready to start my journey and be an Auburn Tiger ... It's a burden lifted off my shoulders. I finally got my decision made. No looking back now. It's 100 percent Auburn now so I'm ready."

Troxell, an offensive tackle, was heavily recruited and narrowed his choices to Auburn and Alabama. He's the second offensive tackle to commit to Auburn in the 2017 recruiting class, joining fellow four-star recruit Calvin Ashley.

Troxell is ranked by ESPN as the No. 14 offensive tackle in the nation, and the No. 84 overall prospect in his class.

Auburn is now up to six ESPN 300 recruits in its 2017 class.
