Report: Former Texas OL expected to play for SMU

Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports is reporting that former Texas offensive lineman Jake Raulerson has been offered admission to SMU and is expected to suit up for the Mustangs.

The former four-star recruit out of Celina High School (Texas), tweeted a picture of his acceptance letter to SMU on Thursday. Raulerson had originally expressed his desire to continue his education and use his remaining two years of eligibility with UCLA in a tweet posted in January.

Tracy Pierson of Bruin Report Online reported that Raulerson was ready to attend UCLA, but was turned down for both programs he had applied for. Other schools Raulerson had been considering - including Stanford, Michigan, and North Carolina - are said to have had no more room for a graduate transfer this late in the recruiting process.

ESPN's Kyle Bonagura reports that Arkansas is also in the mix to land Raulerson, as the grad transfer reportedly left for a visit to the university Thursday.
