College GameDay to open season at Lambeau for LSU-Wisconsin

ESPN had a number of options for kicking off the college football season: Alabama and USC from AT&T Stadium, Florida State against Ole Miss in Orlando, Fla., Clemson at Auburn, and Notre Dame heading down to Austin to face Texas on Sunday night.
However, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit confirmed to Doug Gottlieb on CBS Sports Radio that College GameDay will open the season at Lambeau Field on Sept. 3. between LSU and Wisconsin.
Herbstreit will leave following the show and travel to Arlington, Texas to call the Alabama vs. USC game, then jump to Orlando to perform the same task for Florida State vs. Ole Miss.
What a way to start the 2016 season.
