Ohio State tops NFL draft leaderboard with 12 selections

To the surprise of nobody, Ohio State produced more 2016 NFL Draft selections than any other school in the nation.

The Buckeyes got started early with five picks in the first round, and kept the train moving thereafter, finally finishing with a grand total of 12.

Ohio State fell two selections short of tying the single-draft record of 14, which was set in 2004 by Miami. Amazingly, excluding specialists, at least one Buckeye from every position group was drafted.

Meanwhile, the SEC reigned supreme with the most number of picks by conference, ending the event with 51 selections.

Within the SEC, Alabama and Florida produced a conference-high seven picks.
