Hawaii's Tulimasealii arrested for 2nd time in two weeks

Marco Garcia-USA TODAY Sports

Hawaii defensive lineman Kennedy Tulimasealii was arrested for the second time in two weeks on Monday, this time for criminal property damage.

The Rainbow Warriors standout was arrested earlier in April following an altercation with his ex-girlfriend and charged with suspicion of abuse, harassment, resisting arrest, and contempt. That incident resulted in the 21-year-old's suspension from the team.

Honolulu police told Manolo Morales of KHON the latest charge stems from an incident in March that was just reported. Sources told Morales that Tulimasealii and his ex-girlfriend began to argue in his car and the 6-foot-1, 285-pound lineman punched the dashboard, damaging the radio and navigation system.

After his previous arrest, head coach Nick Rolovich said Tulimasealii would miss the rest of spring practice, pending an investigation. Following another charge, it seems unlikely that he'll return to the program any time in the near future.
